Taste of Europe Deli
Here is a picture of some cheese and potato pierogies from the Taste of Europe Deli on Douglas St. in Victoria. They were very tasty indeed. The filling was creamy and cheesy, and the dough was just the right thickness while soft and a bit chewy. The dill on top added some nice flavour. Almost like Baba used to make!

The Perogy Factory, R.I.P.
These perogies were enjoyed in the summer of 2013, from the Perogy Factory in Duncan. Sadly, this shop has since closed. The yam, curry and cumin perogy had an interesting combination of flavours and was quite good, but the traditional potato and cheddar was too light on the cheese, and a little boring.
